Happy Halloween from the trenches -- those special nooks and crannies reserved for the nice ones on this planet who care to put 10 bucks worth of candy on their front doorstep, only to have your f(r)at doushebag neighbors steal it.
Gotta love those guys; they can't think without spitting on the ground and scooping the foamy leftover residue back into their lip every five seconds.
So here I am at the UAB library, patiently awaiting the render of THE MIDNIGHT CITIZEN HALLOWEEN SPECIAL, which should hopefully be done and ready for viewing on the web site by the end of the day, so you guys can have this precious All Hallow's Eve gift from me just in time. I'm biting my lip in anticipation of what you folks might think of this one: it was a small seedling of an idea I had back in the summer, and actually found the resources and people to help me pull it off. Though it isn't much, and I'm sure you'll be able to see the exhaustion in my eyes as the night draws on and I struggle to get out my lines without stuttering like Rain Man, I'm still quite proud of it, and think you'll enjoy it thoroughly -- if not for me, then for the terror stylings of the movie I show, William Castle's 1959 fright night classic, HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL.
Render Time: 3:18:30
If not today, then tomorrow, surely.
